Congratulations (Graduation Cap card)

Hi everyone! A couple weeks ago I shared some great news about being invited back to guest design for Fantasy Stampers Challenge Blog this month. I'm super excited to share my second inspiration project this month - this one is for the Midway Motivation Post for Challenge #67 - Clean and Simple! Come play with us!

I had the best time creating this graduation card. It was really easy and sure packs a big punch. I stamped a large sentiment across the bottom and added trios of glitter dots around the letters. I created the tassel from white metallic string and attached it with a tiny black brad.

I stayed with a simple black and white color combo with some stamped pink lace on the inside of the mortarboard, and added a magnet closure.

The inside sentiment is from the same Paper Smooches stamp set. :)

Here's a close-up of the stamped pink lace - the background stamp is from Great Impressions and I just love it! ;)

I adhered a blank white panel on the back for signing and a handwritten note.

I'd love to enter this graduation cap card into the following challenges:

  • Cardstock/Paper: Marco's Black cardstock, Stampin' Up! Pink Pirouette cardstock, Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium white cardstock,
  • Stamps: Great Impressions Lace Background stamp, Paper Smooches Simply Said stamp set
  • Ink: Stampin' Up! Pink Pirouette ink, Memento Tuxedo Black ink
  • Accessories: Really Reasonable Ribbon Iridescent White Metallic String, tiny black brad, MISTI, Pink Stampendous Dot Sparklers

I hope you've enjoyed this project and have found a little inspiration to create a clean and simple project for our challenge this time! Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time! ;)
Scrappy hugs,
